I'm on my second go-through.  Resizing.  4-inches is currently a pain in my butt.  Grin

PS - I don't think I mentioned it, but I'm pretty stoked about my partner! Wink

Hmm....  Since so many people love the idea of making a single awesome HP thing, but so many also feel limited creatively by the 4"x4" requirement, maybe someday we should do a round of One Medium Harry Potter Thing. Or One Awesome Harry Potter Thing.  With a size requirement of say, no bigger than 10"x10".  Or a square inch limitation?

Thoughts?

I think The 4"x4" size limit helps with creativity of the project- it forces you to think outside the box, rethink crafting message and pushes you outside your comfort zone

Just take a look at the past galleries there are some truly awesome things out there

I know a few people who are the type that once they have an idea, they have to create it, and that might be the focus demographic for One Awesome Harry Potter thing. I sometimes can't sleep until I jot down an idea and some how try and incorporate that into my crafts. Embarrassed I don't sleep much.

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

Think INside the box, because it's bigger in there!

You know I love how your mind works! Grin  Remember that I'm planning another round of Back to Hogwarts with signups in August and sendouts in October.  But how about a One Awesome Harry Potter Thing right after that....you know for the holidays?  Perhaps begin 2013 by sending out&receiving a HP treat?  Or perhaps after the holidays if the holiday time it's too busy for everyone?  (though I find the holiday break, especially right after Xmas, the perfect time to craft)

pssst....see how I'm getting HP swaps and crafting in year round... Cool

In other news, my Accio Charm is just not working with Lilak's supplies; now I have to wait for the muggle post. Tongue  I just can't wait for them to get here!!!

Hello OTHPTers!  I just wanted to let you know that Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions has opened up a shop in the HP Craftalong (HPC).  You can find it on the first page, third post.  Feel free to stop by and try on a new robe.  Robes (aka avatars) are a great way to show off your House Pride.  Madam Malkin is also always happy to have new robe designers in her shop.  If you have a new robe you would like to add to the shop, PM pinkleo or post a robe message in the HPC.  Madam Malkin also has a few robe designers in the HPC who take requests for custom robes; they are better known as the HPC Badge Baronesses.  PM them if you desire a special robe.  Hope to see you in the shop!
