3 more days for signups. I might go to Sunday the 10th. I would like the swap to get to 6 or an even 8 crafters for the swap. Even if you don't have any small pets and are a rodent lover at heart, you can still sigh up.

I know with the star swap I was in I had to send stuff to the Netherlands. It actually got there faster than one I sent to the US.

Last summer I joined a swap with my children and crafted alongside them. While it was a lot of fun, it was also a fair amount of stress. This summer I'll craft with my Floppsy instead and skip some of the stress. Technically he is my daughter Tori's bunny (she chose the spelling), but since I am the one who feeds him, cuddles him, trims his nails, cleans his cage, takes him out to play in the grass... well you get the picture

It's not a great picture of him, but it was the only one on this computer.

I have only had Annabelle Lee for a couple months and I was lucky to cut off her mats using the lure of strawberries, how on earth do you get a bunny to lt you cut her nails!? I'd be thumped and grunted at for attempting to lift her

He isn't bad about it now. He loves to be picked up and cuddled. When he was younger, we would take him outside and play with him for a while so he was a bit tired out, then we wrapped him in a towel and pulled out one foot at a time.

Awww floppsy is so cute!! I don't have any good pics of our piggies on my laptop, but I will take some this weekend. These last few weeks have been crazy with our kiddos end of the school year stuff going on. Today is the last day of school though and now we get to be lazy!!

With My Rabbits i just sit them on my lap with the lure of some good treats and then gently lift up the foot each one in turn and hold it for a few seconds. without trying to do anything to it at all. just hold it. they'll prob quickly snatch it back at first but eventually they'll realise your not going to do anything aweful to it and just relax nom thier salad and let you hold their foot. once they're calm with this then you can get the nail clippers out and give them a quick trim. If the rabbit snatches his foot back at anytime just let him dont try to keep hold of it cos the rabbit will pannick and struggle could injure itself and will be less inclined to let you touch its feet ever again.

She only likes me a little. I am working on it though. Neglected for a whole year probably does that to a bunny no matter how sweet. She loves not being trapped in a cage. I haven't let her outside because we have no trees and very brave hawks.
