Hand Etched Wine Bottle Incense burner ^_^

This is my hand etched wine bottle incense burner- Peacock. I love this incense burner. It is one of the first few etches that I made. I taught myself how to hand etch glass using only a Dremel less then a year ago. I seen a very few people online do hand etched glass and I thought why not give it a try? After practicing for a short time I got the idea to make hand etched wine bottle incense burners and luminaries. It has been a wild ride and I am having so much fun doing this. I just had to share ^_^

I too am amazed at your skills. It does not sound easy, etching a bottle with a dremel. Hats off!
How do you use it as an incense burner? Just fill it with sand and put an insence stick in it?

How do you use it as an incense burner? Just fill it with sand and put an insence stick in it?

With the Dremel I drill 2 holes in the side of the bottle for ventilation.  How I use it is I stick a incense in a large jump ring and put that in the mouth of the bottle. The ashes fall to the bottom of the bottle and you have no ashy mess. I love seeing the incense smoke rising out of the bottle. I love etching ^_^
