eye and mascara hoop (as usual, IMG HEAVY)

hello, needlework boards! this hoop is based on a doodle i did a while back. i always liked how it turned out, so i figured i'd do it in a hoop! this hoop is very small, i think a 2 or 3 incher, and was just the right size. this is my first hoop, and i love the result!

this is also the first time i tried to do backing! i didn't google it first, and as a result my magazine picture backing did not go well. i didn't stuff it, nor did i attach some kind of hook to hang it from. i just tried to stab the pin i was hanging it on through the paper. bad choice.


and, of course, obligatory wall shot (i don't currently have a hoopla wall, and i'm excited for july, when i'll finally be of age to do a hoopla swap!):

  Great doodle and first hoop! If you'd be interested, I'd love to do a personal swap with you.  I know my step-daughter would be game too...she just turned 14 and has started swapping hoopla's with me.  She is doing her first personal swap right now actually.  She is always excited when I get on board with the on-going hoopla swap and wants to participate, but is too young.  Message me if you'd be interested and we'll make it happen.
