Purple Pansy

Made this for the 4x6 art swap, a flat felted purple pansy.  I was quite happy with how it turned out, and want to do more up close flowers.

Ooh, very pretty! I didn't realize that swap was for anything besides paper crafts (which I don't do). I might have to take a closer look at the swap!

I haven't done a felted cuff, but have thought about it, should be on my to do list

and Maremare check out the 4x6 gallery it is amazing, and we're doing round three soon.  Your piece has to be relatively flat and 4x6 but otherwise sky is the limit!  People do mixed media, mini quilts, glass pieces, pottery, felt, paper, amazing variety.  It's also fun because you make a piece you like, with no assigned partner, then you only at posting time get a name and address to send to, and everybody sends and receives around the same time.

This is lovely!!! Purple pansies are my fav flower....well one of them! Thanks for sharing!! I work with felt but havent gotten into felting yet! One of these days!
