Assemblage Trinket Box Question

I have a bunch of cardboard laying around, and I was thinking about making it into a trinket box, like here:

I'm terrible with measuring and planning sizes, though. Is there any sort of tutorial for this, where the measurements and instructions are already laid out?

I think that one was purchased. Michaels has some similar, or you can often find them in thrift stores.
