hi there,
I am happily sewing away at reversible pinny/jumper dresses where the lining and the main fabric are the same size. The whole thing is sewn along the top, then along the bottom, then turned right side out and the side seams joined up together. So it is "bagged out"
The dress has buttons at the top.

I have been using this method here
http://sewing.patternreview.com/review/pattern/18845

Trouble is, I wish to insert a frill along the bottom hem, rather than sew it on to the top or bottomside of the completed dress. Is this possible? I tried sandwiching it in the seam when I sewed the lining and main fabrics together, but I could not work out how to join the frill at the side seam. I did not want to trap the frill into the side seam when I got up to step 8 but I couldn't work out how else to do it..

Sorry if I can't explain what I mean clearly.  Huh

Anyone know if this can be done and if so, how?

I worked it out, don't worry.
Frill does not go right the way to the side seam, that's all.
