Anyways, I mailed lanikins poppet a week ago today- I don't want to jinx anything, but *fingers crossed* she gets it before this weekend! Or heck, this weekend. Y'all are so lucky to get Saturday mail service!

my mailman probably thinks i'm a psycho, paranoid shut-in...every time he comes up to my front porch, i look out of the window like a crazy cat lady, waiting for that package.

I do that ALL THE TIME when it comes to book! But currently I keep refreshing my Craftster homepage hoping that I have a PM from you saying that you got it...

Finished everything then relized that the shoes were funky. So I am gonna remake the shoes and send out everything on Monday.

i am posting this on my cell phone, because our internet is down.  i have taken pics of my awesome poppet that i received from avery, but can't post them until i get a proper internet connection.

attempt number 3 on the wig for me.  i'm hoping to get everything wrapped up tonight, but with the luck i have had with this poppet, chances are, it is going to come down to the wire.

I forgot how finicky these poppets are - Beth sorry you have to redo the shoes, and Lanikins I can't believe you are on #3, but then again you are always the perfectionist.

I was up late last night (DD#1 threw up - yes, the stomach bug hit us again.) and in a fog, I decided to skip the wig for the poppet, stitching straight onto the head. I may have to pull everything out and go back to the wig option - looking a bit sparse. After the hair is done, all I need is eye lids and lashes. The box is waiting, half-packed!

Finishing touches going on.  I have never done a poppet swap, so I'm worried I might not be doing enough.  But since it is a "mini" swap, hopefully, it will be enough.
