Good morning everyone, it's partner assignment day!  =)

I'm closing the sign-up period now while we still have a nice even number of participants and will aim to have all partner information sent by this afternoon.

You should have all received your partner's information by now.  I think there are some good matching points with all groups but please make sure I didn't overlook any important shipping and/or allergy information.  Feel free to message me at any time with questions or concerns and please be sure to stay in regular communication with your partner!!

HAVE FUN!!

Yay! I'm excited! Also, I'm excited because yesterday and today I've been harvesting some rose of sharon, catnip and basil and have it all drying now.

What method do you use to dry your herbs?

This year I've gathered dandelion (flowers and also the leaves), lilac (I was going to use them for bath bomb making until I found out they are edible!), chives, and rhubarb.  I'm noticing the plantain popping up in my yard and will be collecting some of that too.

I hang mine upside down in a gauzey type basket to catch any that falls.

I just bundled the catnip and basil and hung them with twine in my crafts closet. For the rose of sharon, I made a very temporary (and very crappy) drying rack out of a roll of window screen (which I bought to make something better later), 2 wire hangers and some duct tape. It doesn't hold much and collapsed at one point, but currently seems to be holding up well enough to do its job for the time being.
