I came home late last night to an envelope full of inchie goodies from Kimchery.  I can't even express how cool an idea she had:

First, the set (She chose Super Mario):

The top three:

Look closely, they've got a little ribbon--it hides a surprise!:

She also said she just couldn't contain the middle one to one inch! Smiley

And, the bottom five:

Thank you so much Kimchery! They are great! I never would have thought to do that! What did you use to paint(?) them?

I'm still a real inchie beginner, and I haven't really veered off of colored pencils yet!

The inchies in the gallery so far are great, I'm a big fan of bright color but I love all the black and white inchies.  Just made my second claim and my first claim will be in the mail tomorrow.   Smiley

Most of them were done using micron pens, sharpies, and prismacolor markers.  I'm so glad you liked them!
.... I did feel horribly guilty about the cloud enemy inchie...  It was bothering me after I sent out and I realized I was bugged because I totally cheated.  It would have been a bit different if that one broke aprt into two inchies, but I made it the way I did so it would fit both the spiky egg and spiky guy.  But now that I think about it,... when it isn't two inchies put together to make another picture, its called something totally different.  Not twinchie,..... thats 2 inches square.  I can't remember what the 2"x1" are called.  But that's what it is.  (If you want to get technical, like it took my obviously tired brain a few days to do..)  So, next time I claim you I owe you another real Mario inchie!

And, on a different note....

This has been such a great gallery!  I wish I hadn't been so busy and would have been able top participate a little more.  Still, its been wild stopping in and seeing all the new inchies.  There's been so many (like all of them) that I can't even pick which I was crazy about.  I can definitely say I am enjoying everyone's take on black and white!

I'm so new when it comes to drawing art....not super great at it....all these mediums....not familiar. I just learned what watercolors looked like yesterday when my niece got some for her birthday....I'm gonna have to browse the craft stores more and try out new mediums!

I recieved from Nilmerg today, and I also got spoiled!  Lots of  pictures coming--

First, she made me a card with extra inchies, too:

She chose quotes, so she did 2 sets of quotes, four inchies each:

and

She also made me the most adorable penguins:

and

I love it! Thank you Elaine!

I've received two sets so far.

First, from pioneer9, for my cat theme

She commented that she hopes I'm not tired of receiving from her, but if she was the only one who ever claimed me, that would be fine!  I love the different combinations of colors and textures.

Second, from JuliG47 for a mix of themes

The peacock ones are stunning!

Thanks.  I love this swap

All these animals are very cute and the Mario inchies are fun and creative.

I wish my inchies would arrive faster so I can claim again.  I just sent the woodland inchies to Javaannie today. Maybe they will go faster since it's the same country.
