I notice Kimchery (my usual co-org who has stepped back for this round) has managed to jump in and kill the claims thread  Tongue Hopefully one of our new swappers will be excited by one of her many themes, otherwise she will be getting ANOTHER set from me!!!!! (love ya Kim!  Kiss)

Ha, not for long.  Googely eyes was inspiring enough.   Grin  Though another set from you is never a bad thing.  You always mix things up, and I've got lots (not 'enough', just lots...) of great inchies from you.  But....  I guess you will just have to wait til the next time I kill the swap thread.   Wink

Or maybe it will flow along nicely with some new players.

It's so fun to see the claims moving along! I wish I could make more claims, but my plate is full until ppl receive....and my brother's visit has come and gone....alas still crafting away from Teamama. I thought her themes were going to be so easy for me to craft (I was totally baffled by my previous claim--which I ended up loving what I did), but now, easy is the new hard....I've got a few made, and am hoping to get them sent out before Wednesday when my brother arrives. Since on my 3x international claim I'm gonna be sure to post at the post office to make sure I measure the postage cost correctly. Phew, long post, and I didn't really say anything. Guess I should go to bed!

Ok I'm thinking of joining this swap.  I did an inchie swap a year or so ago and have them framed and love them completely.  I've never really done an ongoing swap, which I still can't believe with all the swaps I've done and organized.  lol

Want to make sure I understand this before I sign up just in case I'm totally confused and wrong...If and when I'm approved to swap I make a claim from the last post and then I make 8 different inchies based on the theme I chose.  I send all 8 inchies to that same person I made the claim from.  Once I make a claim I can post my own list for someone to choose from.

CORRECT?

Sounds about right to me!  Sometimes you can pick 2 themes, sometimes you can pick a combination and do a few of whatever.  When someone really prefers 8 inchies to one theme, they usually make note of it in their claim notes.

One important thing to note (for an ongoing swap) is,... when you've made a claim, PM the person you claimed for their address as soon as possible.  The reason I say asap is,... if you wait til 10 days after you make your claim and for some reason they are offline for a few days, it will in turn make you late sending.  This rarely happens, but when the crafting period is relatively short and its up to you to get addresses, its best to get it as soon as you can so you're ready to send when you are done.

An ongoing swap was the first I ever joined.  Its easy.  And you'll have fun.  Especially this swap.... cause its inchies!

Nilmerg, I'm so glad you liked your inchies! They were so much fun to make.

I received from pioneer9 today! She sent my inchies in an adorable national geographic card with giraffes...how fun!

She did half from my pirates theme, and half from my Hunger Games theme...And without further ado, my super fun inchies:

Sorry it's sideways, when I put it in the computer, it wasn't...but it changed when I uploaded it..dang it!

Thanks so much pioneer9--they are super fun!

(PS--my partner in the beginning inchies swap suggested she might make her inchies into magnets, and that's what I've been doing with mine....my kids 6 and 4, love that! They even like to make their own!)
