Yay--looking forward to a recipe/tutorial! I admire homesteading skills in all forms.

That looks so good! A co-worker of mine brought some dandelion jelly to work a few weeks ago and I tried it and was surprised at how much I liked it. It really does taste like honey.

That looks delicious! I have a recipe for dandelion jelly I've been meaning to try. Did you like it better with plain sugar or the 50/50 brown sugar? I've never thought of using brown sugar in jelly. I bet my husband would love it. Did you add food coloring at all? My reciepe calls for it but I wasn't sure if I wanted to add it. Thank you for sharing, you've inspired me to make another bath of jelly this year.

Hi poe poe,

I do feel that the 100% white granulated sugar tastes much more similar to honey than the batch with brown sugar.  The brown sugar tastes a bit darker but they are both great in my mouth.  =)

I did not add food colouring.  After infusing the tea, it will have a dark clouded look to it but don't worry, it'll change to the colours you see in my photo.

Happy jelly-making!

For those who asked for the recipe, I still haven't written my blog article but it was based on this one (I altered the measurements and omitted the food colouring):

dreadlocklove,
Thanks for sharing your recipe with everyone. I don't think I'm going to add food coloring to mine. Yours turned out beautifully without it, and I'd like to keep it as natural as possible.

Oh and Prairieland herbs... great stuff! A friend of mine took me to their store a few years back. I Love their products.
