Hi everyone!  I've been ogling craftster for about two weeks, and signed up about two days ago.  This is a cat house I made a couple of years ago.  I know it's not a new project, but I haven't done as much crafting recently--I'm just getting inspired again!  Anyway, this was the first project I ever made from a pattern.

EDIT: I finally learned how to put photos up!  so here is my cat house--

Thanks for the kind comments!  After about two years of wear, it's a little squished down now.  At some point, the cats decided they would just jump on top of it, flatten it down, and just lay on the whole thing  Tongue

I'm so glad to have responses to my first post!

Hi welcome to craftsters, I had the same problem with uploading pictures to craftsters. I'm also not very computer savy, hehe.
Your bed looks great! Wonder if my ferrets would like something like that, hmmm.

That's absolutely wonderful! Did you have a pattern or did you just "wing it"?

Hi tiki.  I used a pattern.  I can't remember which one it was, but I have it in a box somewhere.  For my first pattern, I would say it was a pretty easy one.  The only problem I had was that lump in the circular piece of fabric that covers the bottom--I think you can see it in one of the photos.

That cat igloo thing is really cute. I've wanted to make something like that for awhile, but then things came up and I didn't finish cutting out the patterns that I had for the one I was working on. I always wonder if my cat will even use one if I had it for him, he's picky about the spots where he can be lazy.
