 I made this mobile for my brand new nephew. His parents decided to paint his room in greens, orange, and peach. And his mother hung up some wire and nylon dragonflies and butterflies. So I had to include those animals, even if they aren't usually considered jungle animals.

 I made the giraffe and butterfly from the great book Wool Pets by Laurie Sharp. The dragonfly I found on her website of the same name. The elephant, who is my favorite, I made without a pattern, all by myself. He's got the cutest little mouth! The mobile itself I got off craiglists for only $5! So the whole thing only cost me about $20, and would have been a lot less if I could have stopped myself from throwing more animals on at the top. They're those little velcro handed things that hang on pencils and whatnots.

Wow, I'm going to have a look in the shops for needlefelting things this afternoon. Maybe one day I'll get this good at it!
