Holy cow these are good!

makes one 913 pan

bottom chocolate layer

5 2oz cubes of almond bark

1/4 cup peanut butter

Thoroughly grease you baking pan. Like alot, like Clark Griswold going sledding greased  Melt ingredients together in a microwave, then pour into the baking dish and spread until even. Let cool and harden completely.

nougat layer

1/4 cup unsalted butter

1 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup evaporated milk

1 7 oz jar marshmallow fluff

1/4 cup peanut butter

1 1/2 cup salted peanuts roughly chopped

1 tsp vanilla extract

Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add in sugar and milk, stirring until dissolved and bring to a boil. Let cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add in fluff, peanut butter and vanilla, stirring until smooth. Turn off heat and fold in peanuts, then pour over bottom chocolate layer. Let cool completely.

caramel layer

1 14-ounce bag of caramels (about 40 individually wrapped candies)

1/4 cup evaporated milk

Combine ingredients in a saucepan over low heat. Let melt, stirring occasionally, until smooth.  Pour over nougat layer and let cool completely.
I only had 8 oz of caramel that's why there's not enough to cover the nougat layer.

Top chocolate layer

5 2oz cubes almond bark

1/4 cup peanut butter

Melt ingredients together in microwave, then pour over caramel and spread until even. Let cool and harden completely.

Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving, then cut as desired.
I popped mind in the freezer between layers so it would harden up nicely.
Enjoy!!!

Oh my. A 9" by 13" Snickers bar is the most amazing and dangerous thing I've ever seen.

OMG, those look divine!

As for the Corelle, I tell brides to avoid it because it NEVER breaks and you'll be stuck with what you liked when you were a naive child bride, not the sophisticate you turn into when you hit 40/50/60.  *snort*  Yeah, once my kids got beyond dish-breaking age I ditched the stuff at Goodwill and got the breakable stuff so I could change dishes when my taste changed.  "Oh, honey, look how many plates are chipped or cracked.  We need new ones."

Looks so good!

I have those dishes, but in blue.  Hand down from my mother-in-law (previously her mom's, etc etc etc).

I like the breakable dish idea for new tastes....

Snickers is my husband's favorite.  I'll have to try these for sure.

I also have a set of Butterfly Gold from our wedding in 1974.  The concept of unbreakable glass dishes was new at the time, and my husband used to like to "entertain" our guests by throwing a Corelle dish across the room like a Frisbee.

And those of you who feel the need for a new set of dishes (I'm on my 3rd since then, even though the Corelle is still alive and well) just need to learn the art of redesignation.  "Honey, these unbreakable dishes would be so great for camping (or our RV).  We can get another set for the house."   Wink

Hee-hee!  My MIL gave us her set of Correlle when she divorced my FIL and yes, they ARE unbreakable.  We have thrown some on the ground to see if it was true and it is!  We have had only ONE break in all these years, and we're still not sure how it did.  Huh Roll Eyes Tongue

haha yea I love those plates people have dropped them a billion times ! It seems that only when they fall down in weird places or weird ways they break or shatter.. Like the cups for instance we have bumped and battered those and they never break but I broke one falling onto it withh my elbow and had to get 9 stitches LOL

I love Snickers! And that is why I won't be making these unless it's for a party or something, I'd eat the whole pan! I bet they're even better than the store bought ones because they're fresh! I'll be adding your recipe to Pinterest to torture all my friends. Bwahahahahaha!

I made these with a friend! I have no clue what almond bark is so I just used 1.25 cups of milk chocolate chips. I might have to use less peanut butter next time, though I love peanut butter, having it in both the top and bottom layers of chocolate overpowered the amazing nougat and caramel flavors and made it taste like a reeses cup.

All in all, GREAT recipe, I'll def. be making these snickers again.

These sound fabulous!! Will it work as well if I make them without peanuts, like using almond butter instead? I have a friend who used to love Snickers then developed a peanut allergy.. =/
