Here is the first harvest from the garden we built this year.

It is swiss chard, broccoli, cucumber, romaine lettuce, garlic tops (scapes?) and potato.

If everything goes well, we should be getting quite a bit more later in the season and year along with quite a few other veggies. The potatoes came from a couple plants that died, but we thought we would dig them up and try what was there. Hopefully, I'll have some more to post really soon!

Fantastic!  That's an awesome cucumber.  Do you have a photo of your garden you wouldn't mind sharing?

I do have a few, and I'm working on getting all of them together to make a post of everything we did. I will get it up as soon as possible, hopefully tonight.

I wish that I could grow veggies where I live.  Too many aphids.  *sigh*

Your swiss chard is so pretty! How is the broccoli growing going? I'm trying it out for the first time and it seems like it is taking forever and doesn't even look like broccoli yet. lol

The broccoli actually grew a little out of control and a few of the plants flowered before we could harvest it, so we had to add most of it to the compost. We are keeping a closer eye on it now. Wink But, yeah, over the past week or two it's been really coming in.
