to go along with my son's tool box and tools, I decided to build him a work bench.  using some lumber we had around the house, here is what I came up with:

and I even added a little vise for him:

Work bench for your offspring ... craft table for me ... homework station for another ... hall entry table ... laundry room storage area ... the possibilities abound!
