I'm thinking "world peace" might be a nice subject for a craft challenge, possibly in the Christmas period. I was thinking about this because my christmas tree decoration theme was whisked up in a wish swap as soon as I added it to my wish list Smiley

For my tree, I want to incorporate symbols of as many religions as possible (real and fake, we'll have a flying spaghetti monster too, and I plan to hang up an empty hook for the invisble pink unicorn) to recognize that each religion has its merits and its faults, and that we should focus on learning from each other and making the world a better place. I'm also planning to integrate symbols to represent the gay community, because they're a frequent victim of religious slander, and I might add in more symbols as I think of them.

I'm sure many people out there have great ideas on how to represent world peace, and that this challenge could produce gems whilst carrying out a message of hope.
