What Could Possibly Protect an Elixir, Better than a Dragon?

Hey all!

It's been a while since I've posted my last (and first) polymer clay creations, but I've been busy improving my polymer clay skills. I've been hooked up with fantasy and steampunk lately and I want to share my latest polymer clay dragons with you

I've ordered some of these lovely vials from ebay and first thing that came into my mind was to fill them with "elixirs" and make their protectors: dragons!



This red one is the first vial dragon I've made. I'm really happy about how it turned out. The second one was cute, but not as good as the first one though:



Then I've made these russet and green dragons, they are my favorites so far:





And I've made this one recently as a custom order: a turquoise and ice blue water dragon:


And finally, my first dragon miniature try:

The turquoise and ice blue water dragon is my favorite of them all. I love the metallic look of your dragons. Did you use metallic clay or treat them somehow? Awesome work!

mistymystery5, I use regular clay (Cernit, to be more specific) then paint the surface with mica powders (Pearl ex), and varnish
