Willing to personal swap for art of my doggies!

I made these recently for a swap.  Resin pieces made with washi paper, in metal bezels.

I had washi paper butterflies cut out for another project, and thought that a jewelry piece would complement the project nicely.  I cut out some purple paper and laid that down as the a background in the base of the bezel, and poured a thin layer of resin over.  I wanted the butterflies to look like they were resting on a stem, so I coiled some thin copper wires, laid those over the base paper.  I used a bit of glue to add the butterflies, and then laid a layer of resin over the entire work, until it was level with the edges of the bezel.

I had some resin leftover, so I took a bracelet bezel, covered over the holes, and made a butterfly whimsy.  It could have a glue on bail added to turn it into a pendent if so desired.

More about the project on my blog:

Thank you.  I definitely want to play with the wire and resin some more.  I like the one with the two butterflies and someone just told me that two butterflies together symbolize love in some cultures.

Love these butterflies, so pretty.  They would look lovely as a necklace or earrings.
