Of late, my one year old daughter, Sophie has been pretending to be a fairy and using my soup ladle as a wand, which was very cute until she started clonking her older brother on the head with it.  I made this star wands for her out of some fabric scraps to save Cameron from further bruising  Smiley

I have LOTS of little girls birthdays coming up in the next couple of months and am planning to make these to include in their gifts, they are so easy!  My scrap stash will be busted in no time!

Oh, these are absolutely adorable!  And I love that they're plush!  Is there anything inside the wand bit to keep it straight?

Thanks, ladies!

Aislynn, just lots and lots of stuffing, packed hard!  They do wonk around a bit if you hold it by the end and are too vigorous, but that adds a comical factor!  Cheesy

No, I kept the yellow one plain, although Cameron has now adopted it (because he claims he needs it to defend himself!) and has requested an angry face for his  Smiley

Wow - these are adorable - I have a little neighbor girl who I am sure needs one of these magic wands - I think I will have to make several of these and give them to deserving little sprites!
