My little Hippogriff

Sorry this is pic heavy. For the 2012 Summer Semester Harry Potter Craftalong http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=408525.0  we have class assignments to complete.  I choose to do Transfiguration.  I took one of my daughters old my little pony's and turned it into a hippogriff. This is my first custom My little pony and I dont think its going to be my last. I based him after Buckbeak in color. I used polymer clay to add the beak and make all the feathers and wings. I love how he turned out and can't wait to add him to my HP display.

What kind of paint & sealer did you use for the body? I've been wanting to try this but have seen a lot of conflicting opinions online.

I used acrylic paint and a spray sealer. Nothing fancy. Since he'll be a display I wasnt to worried about wear and tare.
