Hello everyone! I just finished the SW swap, and I wanted to share what I made.

an R2D2 drop spindle, I'm proud of my geeky craftyness on this one. Cheesy

Planet inspired roving- this one is Tatooine

Hoth, the ice planet

and Endor, which is covered in forests.
Had a lot of fun doing these and I really hope my partner enjoys them. Cheesy

Those are all so great!  Love 'em, especially the spindle.

My 5 year-old and I were just reading the Star Wars Cook Book this morning, so this fits right into our theme for the day.  :-)  Lucky swap partner!

Very clever. One of the main reasons I think my husband is OK with me being such a C-ster is because there are so many fellow nerds on here, and this just proves that point.

"The perplexity of life arises from there being too many interesting things in it for us to be interested properly in any of them."
- G. K. Chesterton

A clean house is a sign of a wasted life.

It's much more fun, this growing down. -RIP Uncle Shelby-

That spindle is awesome.

As a fellow nerd (though not of the Star Wars persuasion, per say), I wholeheartedly agree that nerdiness and craftiness have a strong link. My boyfriend, similarly, always gets super excited when I show him any old school video game crafts. I owe him a pixelated quilt, someday.

It's bad enough wasting time, without killing it.

i'm seriously considering making the husband a Metal Gear pixel afghan since he's played the series from the start, but that many squares scares me. I'm sure Snake is made up of a lot of squares too. lol Grin
