Ok, so this definitely isn't my favorite color palette, but it goes with Mom's living room and she likes it so I suppose that what matters when you make a gift. Sigh.
Anyway, I made a wall hanging and a hastily sewn mug rug for her for Mother's Day. A week before I gave them to her she said "I have too much crap hanging up, huh?" and "I think I need to settle down with the butterflies, it's getting crazy." So, yeah. I think she liked it though, lol.

And I was inspired by other craftsters to make a mug rug for her too. I made it at the last minute and it's kind of crappy, but she really, really liked it and like a good mom she didn't mention the mistakes Smiley
