(No, I mean, if there aren't any new posts in the bookmarked thread, I still want to be able to "go to last post" from the bookmarks page, like you can from the regular community listing)

Just now when I hit the "new" button from my bookmarks page, the new post was a one-liner, the bar popped into being and COVERED UP THE POST.  Doh.

So it interferes with the actual working of Craftster itself.   Wink

Hmmm, I am ambivalent toward it right now.  I don't know what the moving issues are, as for me, it only appears after I scroll down on the page far enough, and then it just stays at the top.  (I use Chrome, if that matters at all?)

But I don't know if I'd use it, though, as when I see something, I click the pin it.

Let me get used to it, though!

i'm with a lot of the others: if it were there all the time i could probably get used to it, but the fact that it comes and goes is rather annoying/distracting.   Undecided

I don't like it at all and don't understand the need for it since we already have buttons for sharing on Pinterest and Facebook.

I also don't like that it covers up the top inch or more of the page I'm on - lots of time I want to see something that's under it (like the buttons for adding to Pinterest or Facebook.)

If you keep it, PLEASE put in an option to turn it off like FOC's can do for ads.

To be honest, I'm not a fan at all. I find it really distracting flashing in and out, especially because it's so distinctive being dark blue against the white page. If I could switch it off I would because it's not something I would use.

But then I really dislike the flashing avatars so I'm probably in the minority there Cheesy

I hate it. I used AdBlock's Element hiding helper to remove it it bothered me so much with the flashing in and out. I already have the "Pin It" bookmarklet on my browser tool bar, I don't need a floating bar in the page to offer me a a button (and when I'm on my laptop I will very much want that screen real estate back!). It also takes more clicks to use it than it does to use the bookmarklet.

It might be less annoying if it were not a bar across the top but instead a narrow bar down the left side of the page, or just a narrow box of share buttons. As long as it doesn't pop in and out of existence. I don't mind things that float and therefore don't move when the rest of the page scrolls, but it needs to be there all the time, not flashing on and off.

I much prefer the button options that are at the top of each thread as opposed to this new ribbon.

I agree that it's distracting that it appears and then disappears and then reappears again. If it was always there, I could get used to it although, I don't think I'd ever share using that button. I don't have facebook and it's easier for me to pin something using the "Pin It" button I already have installed on my menu bar.

Thanks for being so open to hearing our feedback!!

I agree with Lime Riot. I am with PhoenixFire too I don't like this new feature at all. It's very distracting. I prefer the buttons on top of the threads. I also use my Pin button. I think it's really going to tick Craftster's off that don't use social media. I think it will turn them off to the site. I am sound so grumpy, lol. I had one of my famed headaches last night. That bar didn't help any with the pain. Smiley I felt like I was on a roller coaster after reading the swap threads yesterday. I don't mean to sound all flamey and grumpy. I am happy. Smiley Thumbs down to the bar. Smiley
