Hello everyone and thanks in advance for any advice you can give.

Has anyone else cast on for this?

http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEss12/PATTbigger.php

My issue is on the "Time Vortex Lace Increase Chart".
They have you repeat these 24 rows 7 times

in RED is where my brain skips...

Starting with a RS row, work rows 1 to 24 of the Time Vortex Lace Increase chart 7 times until there are 52 sts, incorporating an additional horizontal repeat after each vertical repeat.

There's probably a simple solution, but I've never come across this before in a pattern.

My brain hurts.

When you finish the increase chart you will have added enough stitches to have one more horizontal repeat in the row when you start the increase chart again. For some reason the pattern is explicitly stating that even though it seems rather obvious to me....

Thank you.
I'm gathering this is a major case of overthinking on my part.

In your defense, the pattern does make it seem like it should be something more complicated than "each vertical repeat will have one more horizontal repeat than the previous." Cheesy

THANK YOU SO MUCH TEPHRA!!!

I was able to get out of my own head and just "do it" as I saw it.
Everything came out perfectly and now my heart rate is back to normal.

It's been a LONG TIME since something has stumped me in knitting.
Perhaps I just had some weird mental block. Wink

Thanks again, you have done your "good deed of the day"!!!
