Ooooo, I just got a new tablet and have been complaining that I don't have a case for it!  I will decide on this later this week after I am done with all my final projects for class.  Cheesy  I can't really think coherently right now, lol.

You should probably add something to the questionnaire about 'what sort of craft you can do', and 'what sort of craft you'd like your cover made from (if you have a preference) or not'.

No sense matching a yarn crafter with someone who only wants quilted sewn covers. That will save you from having to go through and match people based on wists.

Thanks! I added a spot for specifics, and one for what crafts you do. I was hoping it wouldn't be an issue of people only wanting one type of thing or the other.

Might jump in on this one. It's been a while since I did a swap and my phone case is getting worn out. I'll see what I can find on Pinterest for inspiration and decide tomorrow Smiley

ohh, I would LOVE to do this, but not sure I have the sewing skills necessary to make a (functional!) cover from scratch...
Can we use a shop bought cover as a base and embroider/crochet/paint/bead etc onto it, or would this be cheating?

I have repurposed old books to use as a starting point. I want a paper collage one. Just have to figure out how to get the elastic corners on it.

I think there are also people that use just a crochet or knit pouch as their cover.

i would be ok with this, but i would check with your partner as well. and it was mentioned they aren't all sewn. old books into e-reader covers is super popular. I have collected a list of online tutorials i was going to post closer to the end of signups to get some more people interested.
Here is one of them.
