plarn wallet

I had an old hinge wallet that broke apart. Instead of throwing it away I used plarn (plastic bags into yarn) to crochet a case for it and sewed it all together. I drilled into a d20 and used it as my button for the latch. I also added two pockets in the middle to hold my checkbook and receipts. It still has places to hold my I.D, cards, and change pocket with zipper. I also have two hidden pockets underneath each side of the original wallet. Below are the pics of the wallet opened and closed.

What a wonderful recycle/upcycle/redo/insert word here project!  It is perfect for carrying everything in a compact, organized manner.  Great work with the plarn!

This is awesome.  Great job - I love the creativity of the d20 "button" and the reuse of the old frame.
