My husband is a musician and uses Crown Royal bags to hold some of his guitar slides and smaller pieces of his gear. They're all starting to wear out and I am very certain that it would be cheaper for me to make him some than for us to buy several bottles of Crown. I have been looking for a simple bag pattern that's large enough. Most of what I'm finding are dice bags, which I could make for him later but not what I need now.

Anyone know of an quick sew pattern?

You could increase the size of the dice bag patterns. If they're just rectangles, you can increase all of the measurements and still follow the same directions. If you're comfy with a calculator, you can figure out how to get the exact dimensions for each piece with a ratio to the original size. Like, say the bag's bottom is 5 inches wide, and you want it be 9 inches wide, you multiply all the other numbers by 1.8. Don't forget to include the seam allowances in your calculations, though!

Good luck Cheesy

Here are some of the drawstring bag tutorials I can remember. You can always increase/decrease the size as you see fit.

Here is a tutorial that I used recently that was nice and easy to follow.  She also offers a pattern for purchase that includes several different sizes and a a forumla to create any size.  You could probably just look at the tute and figure out your own measurments but I really stink at that (even on simple things) so I bought the pattern and let her figure it out for me, lol.  http://incolororder.blogspot.com/2011/10/lined-drawstring-bag-tutorial.html
Also, if your husband is partial to the Crown Royal bags, you can get them pretty cheap on ebay. Wink

Take apart one of the crown bags and use it as your pattern.
