05/14/12 - Update to Hot New Projects Thumbnails

We're excited to announce that we've made an update to the Craftster homepage.  We've heard your [many!] requests to remove swap sign-up threads and galleries from the HOT NEW PROJECTS FROM ALL CATEGORIES section of the main page, and we've listened!

Now when you view the main page, thumbnails (which were often just clipart or fun text images) to currently popular swap sign-up and gallery threads will not be viewed with the category project rotation.

We still want popular swaps to get highlighted often, so we'll be doing a weekly blog feature with what's hot in swap sign-ups and swap galleries!

You can also access hot swaps directly via this link, which can also be found via the blue button Hottest New Topics > select Organized Swaps from the dropdown menu at the top of the screen:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?action=hotnewtopics;categ=18;

Fab update!  I adore swaps (and I look forward to the hot swap posts), but I really want to see hot new crafty projects.  I did see that craftalongs are still featured in the hot new projects; not that I mind...I think craftalongs are beyond hot , but some peeps may notice those still popping up from time to time.
