Project Name: A Shirt Called Charlie Brown

Brief Description: Muggle children used to be very fond of an animated character called Charlie Brown; sitting in front of the moving picture box and watching this poor loser try to put on a Christmas play used to be a cherished part of the build-up to Christmas for Muggles (in America, at least). Charlie Brown always wore the same striped yellow shirt, and I've made a loose replica for a little wizard of my acquaintance.

I also wanted to say I really enjoyed the summer semester at Hogwarts. It was cool seeing all the different stuff people came up with for the assignments. I didn't get to all the assignments I planned to do, but I had fun with what I did. I liked peeking in here during a hectic week, like this past one. I also got some good ideas for later. One take-away I'm glad for is eiseldora passing on the idea of "blessing bags"; I'd never heard of them before, and, although I seldom encounter homeless people, I've already passed the idea on. Thanks to pinkleo for starting this.

I am thrilled to hear you had fun in the HPC.  And you are more than welcome, but really it is all the HPCers who make it GREAT!  Hope to see you in the thread for next semester.

One more quick note from your Deputy Headmistress....

Anyone who completed a single project in the Summer HPC has officially completed their first "year" at Hogwarts.  This means that anyone who continues in the Fall HPC will be Second Years.  I have made a chart of everyone who posted something in this thread, and will use it to track everyone's progress over future semesters.  Please do me the *huge* favor of taking a quick peek at it, to make sure that if you posted a finished craft this summer, that your name appears on the chart, and appears under the correct House.

If (*and only if*), you have been left out, or are listed in the wrong house, please PM me, to let me know so I can correct the chart.

Also, please note that you can craft as much or as little as you wish in the HPC.  And if you need to, you can take a break from the Craftalong at anytime, and always return for your next "year", when you have the free time.  We are not here to demand work from you, or be a point of stress.    If you have a busy Fall ahead of you, and won't be crafting much, don't despair!  Please always remember that you will be welcome back with open arms, should you choose to return over Winter Term, or even next Summer!  And of course should you wish to craft each and every subject over Fall Term, that we will be delighted to see them too!

If you click on the tab on the top of the page that says "Show images only" that will just show you the posts that people made that have photos in them.
