Oh Sir Hat,

Gryffindors are red.
Ravenclaws are blue.
There is no hat more lovely than you.

Hufflepuffs are yellow
Slytherins are green
You are the most intelligent hat that ever I have seen.

Though my house has been clear,
I shall craft something for the lions I hold dear.

Sincerely,
pinkleo

Pinkleo, I didn't think it was humanly possible to love you more than I already did...  But now I do.

Oh, and I'm glad that my package got to you safe and sound.   Kiss Kiss Kiss  I have a favor to ask though.  I forgot to take a picture of the bookmarks I made.  If you get a chance, could you snap one for me?  I mailed out all the ones I made!

@tankrgrl: I just adore that Cutey Puff!  And well done on the house scarf; I know the devotion that goes into one. Cool  I would say it is Detention with Snape project since it was a WIP since 2011. Grin

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

Awesome robe set!  My kids would probably clean their rooms for robes like that, lol.  Great work.
Go Hufflepuff!

HAHAH! I'll clean my room for a robe like that! XDDDDDDD Although since I am a bit bigger than a six year old boy, I guess I'll have to say I'll clean my HOUSE for a robe like that  Cheesy Cool TOTALLY. EPIC. (although it'd look better in red and yellowWink )

class:herbology
house:gryffendor
project:practice wands

my daughter leah actually got me onto this project. she's not ready for the trip to ollivanders, so she wanted to make her own wand for practice. and once we started then everyone wanted to give it a try.

after a little experimenting, we started with a chopstick, and hot glued the end of a strip of foil to it. then wrapped and crumpled the foil to create the handle. then more hot glue on top. before the glue hardens you can use the tip of your gun to make grooves. after the first layer cools you can create patterns with more hot glue.then we painted the wands and added glitter. a wire basket turned upside down work really as a drying rack.

class:transfiguration
house:gryffendor
project: ribbon rescue to hair clip

my daughters favorite flipflops lost one of the centers to the flowers.

she said the ribbon tickled her toes anyway so we snipped the thread that held them on and hand washed the with a little soap. layered the too blooms for more fluff, and found a hair clip with a large metal circle for attaching flowers, waved the majic glue gun and we have a cute clippy.

Class: Follow the Spiders challenge
House: Slytherin
Project Name: Glittery Spider Fascinator
Brief Description: I made this fascinator so I have something pretty to wear on Halloween ^_^ I now have black glitter all over me and my home, but it looks good so that's the main thing, right? ^_^

Class: Arithmacy
House: Slytherin
Project Name: Twisty Fibonacci Cowl
Brief Description: This cowl is not that great, and the photo is even worse. I used 100% wool in a mustard colour and I learnt how to purl and use circular needles so I could create a ribbed pattern using the Fibonacci sequence. I'm going to make another one of these, and try not to make so many mistakes.

Almost done! Only four challenges to go ^_^
