teag: not only does the journal look great but if I had just the cover I'd frame it  Smiley

The cover, believe it or not is cardboard from  a cereal box, a paper napkin, some mod podge and paint very easy and very inexpensive to do.

Teag, that is a GREAT story, I love it!  I'm guessing you're replicating (gorgeously) June Cleaver's necklace? Cheesy

Okay, I broke Craftster!!! Sad  The first page disappeared & added some of post 2 to it. Tongue  NOTE TO FUTURE SELF: Save first page info next time.  I'm going to get it back up.  I will be deleting comments in completed projects page as I think it is in overflow and causing glitchy things....that or nargles have been up to their usual mischief!

Definitely Nargles

Okay, I'm still the process of rewriting & revamping.  If you see something amiss, let me know...like I totally messed up the assignments (couldn't remember all my clever bits) or a FAQ I missed.  THANKS!!!   (definitely a learning experience)

Did y'all realize there is only 16 more days of this semester!?!!!

chiming in inexpensive weddings.....put your money into things that matter the most to you, not what people expect. i did all the bouquets and boutinears myself from silk flowers so i could work on them ahead of time. my roses are still hanging in my bedroom. we also let the ushers and our dads wear their own suits instead of renting tuxes. the important thing is celebrating your marriage without starting out with a large amount of debt.

I caved and bought the pattern for my last (herbology) project with a gift card - does that still count that my whole semester is stash, since I'm using stash materials?  It was at least a no-buy semester...
