People keep raising their eyebrows and looking sceptically when the budget comes up, especially since *gasp* we're planning a STEAMPUNK wedding.

Proof positive that you don't need a ton of money to create *beautiful* results.  You just need to have love in your heart while you work towards it!!!

Omg, I totally agree!  We did our wedding under a budget.  It was a BIG wedding, too.  We got the church for free, since it was where my husband's parents worked.  We made our centerpieces, which were real pumpkins with fake flowers inside.  We also made all our food, with the help of and our friends and family reheated it and got it all ready for us the day of.  We made sooooo many meatballs, and my hubby and I made the spaghetti sauce while my mom's friend made all the alfredo sauce.  My husband's mom's friend did our flowers for us.  And I bought cheap paper lanterns online for decorations.  My mom made all the bride's maid dresses, and I made the jewelry.  My friend and I did glass etching on wine glasses for the head tables, and I made little pumpkin place holders, too.  It was pretty awesome!  And it all turned out so beautiful!  I wouldn't have changed a thing!

and omg, that kitty ghan is sooooo cute!!

Class: DADA
House:Ravenclaw
Project Name: Black Cloud

This for me has been the most difficult class to do, as a result I have no story to go with it-

My Biggest fear is never getting out from under this dark cloud I have been living under for the past three years.

I also had a budget wedding, and I loved it.

I was married outside, and had a reception in a church. My dad made all the food, which was kinda pot luck, and really the most expensive thing was my dress.

We bought disposal cameras and gave them to each table of guests to take photos instead of rice or bubbles, I used fake flowers for the center pieces, and a playlist for the dancing.

Good luck and don't listen to the nay Sayers.

That's amazing chughes! Great job!

Also, (belated - this thread grows so quick!) congratulations to Gryffindor on their Quidditch win! Slytherin - we'll beat them next time! ~_^

Also, also, thanks Pinkleo for organising the Quidditch match! It was a lot of fun! ^_^ And thanks for my honourable mention - I feel very special ^_^

My potions project is complete, but the first outcome was not very good ; _ ; I'm trying again, and it should be up next week! (fingers crossed!)
