It's time to award our quidditch player for all their hard work.  First up is our participation badges.

Now for the awards to the Summer 2012 Quidditch Players who went above and beyond.

First up are our Most Valuable Players.  The Quidditch MVP badge is awarded to all those who completed every single Quidditch challenge*.

There were many great quidditch projects, and I would like to give an honorable mention to the following students' projects: patty_o_furniture's portkey, teag's seeker, Ant Bee's beater, jillybeans' chaser, lightninglisa's keeper, Avesthel's broomstick, and Eiseldora's cheering/spirit.

Last but not least....
It is time to award the Quidditch House Cup.  It was a close race, with lots of scores made by each team.  The results were as follows:

Ravenclaw: 14 players scored 1450 points, an average of 103.6 points per player
HufflePuff: 4 Players scored 430 points, an average of 107.5 points per player
Slytherin: 7 Players scored 800 points, an average of 114.3 points per player
Gryffindor: 7 players scored 930 points, an average of 132.9 points per player

With these results, I present the Quidditch House Cup to GRYFFINDOR!

Congratulations Gryffindor on winning the Quidditch House Cup!  Enjoy it now, for in the Fall the Quidditch House Cup will be up for grabs once more.

That wraps up our Summer 2012 Quidditch Games.  Thank you to everyone that participated; you made it tons of fun!

Wow, there was such a great push of items at the end of the match!  I also love the new regular pieces that were posted.  @Teag, those charms are adorable!

I have another class project, but I'm not thrilled with it.  It went a bit weird - the shrink plastic got a bit rough on the shiny side, probably from pressing it flat with a piece of paper.  That makes it hard to see the words in a couple places.  But without further ado:

Class: Arithmancy
Project name: Fibonacci time vortex

I made a TARDIS time vortex charm, with "wibbly wobbly...timey wimey..." in a fibonacci spiral around it.  I still like the idea, but need to figure out how to execute it better I think!  Maybe make a separate TARDIS charm and a separate spiral charm, and hang them together on the necklace?



(Sorry I didn't rotate the picture - when I do in photobucket it gets all squashy sideways, and if I rotate it before importing photobucket rotates it sideways again automatically)

Thanks Headmistress Pinkleo for organizing such an AWESOME event!  I had a great time crafting for it and am absolutely tickled to have won a bronze medal (appropriate - I'm Canadian lol!  We had the highest bronze to other medal ratio at the olympics).

Can't WAIT for next semester, my crafty ideas are revving in anticipation.

EDIT: I was so excited I forgot to wait for the winner of the cup so GOOOO GRYIFFINDOR!!!!
