Haha, Ravenclaw is playing a good match here! Whoohoo, well done, fellow Ravenclaws! So here's the first Quidditch challenges I came up after I got enlisted by our reckless restless team captain Eiseldora!

I had made these yo-yos a while ago, thinking of making them into a hatband. But now took them and made them into a necklace instead.

Beater Challenge: something new

I learned something new this week - backwards crochet!
I've wanted to make this Hyper-Piston's onigiri purse for a while. It's crocheted in the round, and then the flaps are crocheted in rows, but they still look like they were made in rounds. Hyper-Piston introduced us to the concept of crocheting rows backwards when we wouldn't stop nagging about how it was done.
So now I tried it. It took a bit of trial and error to get the loops right, but it's basically the same thing as knit rows vs purl rows. Just very unusual for the first minutes when you try to mirror single crochet in your head, but then it's just another stitch of its own.

Also, I have a question about the Portkey challenge. What does that signup date mean? Joining the HP Craftalong in general, or was there a special signup for the Quidditch challenge, only I didn't find any? If it's the craftalong, please dear Referree note my portkey points for Ravenclaw!

PS: Sorry I'm not up to the commenting of the wonderful projects in this thread, but it's so many, and they're so overwhelming!

Brief Description: I was almost beaten 'cause I had all this red wire and didn't know what to do with it... Untill I found this little chili charm! I think Forars Kaede fits well with this colour. Spicy!

Brief Description: A Reducio charm and some wire hooks has my broom doing double duty as a place for Quidditch uniforms, scarves, and a place to store my Quaffle, Bludgers, and Snitch. A stasis spell ensures they don't get away.

I caught sight of Fawkes, dumbledores pheonix, flying over the forbidden forest! sightings of him have been very rare since dumbledores passing. i immediatly tried to create an atc card of him. i started off creating a paper silouette to trace around so his wings would be symetrical, but kind of liked it so i ended up doing a paper pieced card as well....not sure which one i like, there may have to be a number 3...

Brief Description: As far as jewelry goes, I usually don't use recycled materials because it never seemed like I could make it look nice. Ditto using felt (it always ended up bunchy). So for this challenge, I decided to tackle a cuff made of a recycled plastic bottle and covered in felt. I attached a potato chip bag flower(another first-I save these for crafting but end up throwing them out) and threaded a bead into its center. The staples were a make it work moment when I couldn't find my craft glue. I'm quite proud of the result.

Project Name: Angel of Creativity
Brief Description:  A gift for someone I know who has had a thing for angels lately and who loves being creative. Canvas two and a half inch by two and a half inch, glued on tiny angel pin, lots of beads, paint pallet embellishments. Painted everything gold and then put a black wash over that to add depth and age.
