Oh my goodness!  Shocked  What an explosion of fantastic projects!

Please note that I'm going on vacation July 22-25.  (Just so y'all know why projects are not being updated during that time.)  I'll be back July 26 to catch up on assignments & challenges.

Okay off to add tons of fab completed assignment links.

@FiberAlchemist - I LOVE your scrabble pillows! What a great idea!

@pottermouth - The Inspiration Board looks FAB!

I've finished my port key and will be taking some photographs over the weekend.  Cheesy I'm still serving my detention - at least it's 60% done so far...

Class: Potions
House: Slytherin
Project Name: The Price Of Magic
Brief Description: With all the forgetfulness potions floating around Hogwarts, it's only sensible to create something that will help me remember in case I should ever drink one inadvertently. This reminds me that anything is only as special, meaningful and exciting as you let it be. I remember seeing a bracelet in an op shop (thrift store) when I was a little girl and I thought it was the most magical thing I'd ever seen and that it must have belonged to a princess. Mum bought it for me even though I wasn't raised to expect presents all the time outside of Birthdays and Christmas. It was only 50 cents, but I was amazed I could have something so beautiful and thought it must have been worth millions more. It broke a long time ago but I made this today to remind me that we have the power to decide what is magical and special and that has nothing to do with money.
(Section of broken bracelet attached to painted thrifted medallion attached to red velvet in painted thrifted frame.)

Since I've joined so late in the Semester I can't possibly list all the crafts on here which I've thought were wonderful, but I'll mention some:

@Katara: The Green Man is just perfect and is it wrong that I really want to eat your Sunshine ornaments?
@FiberAlchemist: your star burst mirror looks fantastic, you are going to giggle when you see my next assignment, there must be something about the Summer Semester which draws us to round mirrors  Wink
@Pottermouth: Ive been looking for a cork board for ages but they all looked so boring: yours is beautiful  Smiley

Class: Divination
House: Slytherin
Project Name: Ladybird Ladybird Fly Away Home...No, Wait, Come Back!
Brief Description: Lady birds are a good omen and being in Slytherin I make my own luck: why have one lucky item of clothing when you can make a series of good omen lavender sachets for your wardrobe so everything you wear can be lucky? Wink Please forgive the late night photography!

special_occasion:  I love, love, love your Price of Magic piece!   Not only is it pretty, but the idea behind it is so lovely!     Cheesy

I've finished my portkey... now I just need to get photos of it out in the wild so I can be registered for Quidditch!   Grin

special_occasion, I really like the idea behind your potions assignment and it came out really well. It kind of ties in with your screen name, too.

Also good to know I'm not the only one who looked at Katara's sunshine ornaments and thought "yummy cookies!"

Fiber Alchemist, lots of good projects. I really liked Draco's little trunk. I'd want to put it under a bell jar or something so I could look at it all the time without fear of losing the tiny pieces.
