Pinkleo, those are all amazing.

Skier3439, a house elf head on the wall is a wee bit creepy, but the eyelashes really do make the perfect finishing touch.

Class: Herbology
House: Slytherin
Project Name: Faux Letterpress Blocks
Project Page Link: http://teaandcraft.blogspot.com.au/

I made these faux letterpress blocks using two non-wand woods to look like a wand wood. Hmmm, sneaky; but I am a Slytherin ~_^

I've got a semi-tutorial on my blog (the link is above), but they are really easy to make. Basically, I glued craft letters onto blocks, cedar stained them, and then distressed them.

I'll be selling these to gullible muggles decorating my craft room with them ~_^

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

Class: Portkey
House: Ravenclaw
Project Name: Pork-key Around Town
Project Page Link:
Brief Description: We decided to place our Portkey today so we drove around looking for an inconspicuous location. We first tried the comic shop but figured Muggles would surely find it.

Then we went to Lady and Sons. What were we thinking?!

The fountain was a bust, too.

But that was because they were filming CBGB. Alas! Did not see Snape! Or Ron!

Also tried The Bird Girl statue, Forrest Gump's bench, and Sisters of the New South Soul Food. I think we are going about this wrong and will just chuck Pork-key in the backyard.

I love the faux letterpress blocks!! The pork-key is funny and the top looks great!! I'm currently struggling with detention - the unfinished project I chose to work on is time-consuming!! Now I know why I never finished it in the first place...(sigh)

I'm also in need of some inspiration for the portal key challenge. I have 2 possible places where I can take photos but I don't have a clue as to what to make and time is running out fast!!

If you have spots picked out. Why not make something that muggles wouldn't pay much attention to if left in the area?
