@rossi, love the sprocket pillow!

@patty_o_furniture, I'm sorry for your fear of moths luv!  When I was in high school I wrote a story about moths that got published in one of the Chicken Soup for the Soul books.  (This was many years ago.)  It was a story my aunt told my little brother when he was afraid to go to sleep with moths around. Smiley  Maybe it would make you feel better.  I have no idea why, but several people seem to have posted it online.  Here's a link to one of them: Colorful Shades of Grey  (And no, it has nothing to do with the Fifty Shades of Grey phenomena.  Wink)

Such great jewellery showing up here, wow!  And congratulations to the people who had the featured projects too.

I have two more little pieces that unintentionally fit into our themes, so I thought I'd pop them in!  I still need to serve detention, do arithmancy, and herbology though.

Class: Muggle Studies
Project: TARDIS onesie

When I saw this perfectly navy onesie, I just knew it was perfect for a TARDIS!  I used freezer-paper stencils and was even wearing my own TARDIS shirt while making it.

Class: Charms
Project: Fishy dreams

Just another boring sleeper spruced up with some felt appliques.  I need to make a squirrel one, but I don't have a good, simple outline to follow!

@patty_o_furniture you are my phobia soulmate!!  Ever since I was little I have been afraid of moths and butterflies and you are the only other person to share this fear.  One evening I left my bedroom window open (with no screen) and the light on, when I came back later and the whole room was filled with moths.  I screamed and ran away and made my husband kill them all and remove their little winged bodies before I would go to bed.

@rossie: LOVE that squishy pillow!  I just want to squeeze it and cuddle up with it!!!

@patty_o_furniture: Well done facing your fear!  (My son to does not like moths within the house...outside okay, but once inside he shivers.)  And those black cat earrings will definitely make fun Halloween earrings.

@ tiamatfire:  love you onesie & sleeper....quick question, because curiosity is killing me, how is your Fishy Dreams encompassed in Potions?

Cheesy Okay, this makes sense. Grin  (But it couldn't have been Potions....like if you were remembering a first visit to the aquarium or a pet fish that had died....see I was creating Potion stories during my bout of curiosity Cool)

Wow!  You all have posted so many awesome projects since I was last on here!  Totally amazing.  Smiley

Class (or House Pride Item): Care of Magical Creatures
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Owl backpack for the birthday boy
Brief Description: Two pairs of old pants, a sweater remnant, and shoulder straps chopped off an old bag = birthday present for just the cost of the thread!

Class (or House Pride Item): Transfigurations
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Gillyweed Jar
Brief Description: A used spice jar turned into a gillyweed container for Snape's personal supply closet!  Painted and distressed the cap, added some plastic-y leaves, green coloring and glitter, then decorated the outside with a label, feather, twine, shells and wooden beads.  Love it!

I loath moths as well...It's mostly because of all of the animal fiber that is in my house, but that is besides the point. You gals aren't alone.
