Charms: The Aguamenti Charm produces a jet of water from the caster's wand.  Produce a project inspired by water.

This cuff is inspired by sea water; the lovely briney smell, greens and blues and purples, the ripples and waves and rock pools...

The cotton was chucked in with a blue dye lot, and came out with lovely subtle shades all over.  I wish you could see the detail in the pics!

challenge : Follow the spiders
House: Ravenclaw
Project Name: Spider bookthong
Project Page Link: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=409077.0
Brief Description: This looks simple right? Right? Somehow I still managed to mess up everything. The spider was simple to do, but some I failed to do her web. Originally I wanted to do a necklace like a cobweb, but it just wouldn't turn out the way it should. Well....maybe spiders prefer crawling on book rather than human necks  Wink

it's all crocheted with sturdy sewing yarn.

I hope I won't continue with this slow pace  Sad

Class (or House Pride Item): Transfiguration
House: (if desired) Hufflepuff
Project Name: A "new" photo frame from an olde wooden table in our garden
Project Page Link:
Brief Description: (how it fits the requirements, techniques used, and any fun tips)
This started out as on old wooden table thing with 3 legs from our back yard that was buried in our garden when we moved in. Ian (my partner) helped me make a photo frame out of it and I got to decorate!! I am sorry I do not have before pictures because we pulled apart before I decided to make a frame!!

Loving the water cuff! And I think a spider bookmark is very appropriate for a "follow the spiders" challenge. Cheesy

Class: Potions - Create something that helps you remember.
House: Slytherin
Project Name: Byzantine Knot Bracelet
Brief Description: Since next week is my last week ever at muggle school before I go to university in September, I wanted to craft something that would help me to remember all the fun experiences I had and the amazing people I met whilst in school. However, I wanted it to be quite subtle as I already have all the usual leavers items - hoodie, yearbook and so on, so I made this. It's a byzantine knot bracelet with 7 knots, each knot is to help me remember both one year spent in school and one of my closest friends.

Everything so far looks so great!  It's amazing to see how this kind of a craftalong inspires everyone to keep crafting!  I also love that there's both HP and non-HP stuff in the thread - I want to wist EVERYTHING!  Oh and thanks for the comments - I think the she's awfully cute too  Wink  It's funny, she's still got big blue-grey eyes even though daddy and I both have brown - everyone else in our families though except our siblings, my dad, and his mom have blue eyes though so they might stick around instead of changing.
