I am a Ravenclaw officially! I didn't try and influence my results at all, even though I felt like 2 questions were waaay too obvious.

I'm in too. This craftalong reminded me to sign up for Pottermore, and I played feverishly until I got my wand and was sorted. Rah rah Ravenclaw! Hoping to craft a craft this week.

Phew~ glad we have so much time for the challenges. I crocheted for hours yesterday, but it just would not come out the way I wanted and I have to redo everything *rage*

I'm starting to get really intimidated by all the aweseome things posted so far

@WhistleFish: precious puff...never can have enough puffs!  And the pictures of Puffalump are adorable!  I'm thrilled you love this craftalong!  (I do too!  It really inspires me to craft!)  And you are so close to being able to swap.  In fact, you will be able to join the OTHPT (One Tiny Harry Potter Thing) swap since your 1 month anniversary happens before signups end; One Tiny Thing swaps are a great introduction to swaps.

Such wonderful crafts -- y'all were busy this weekend!  I love all the spiders, (and thanks for the tut on the wire spider - I think I want to try my hand at that) and the animals, and especially the sweet little Luna.  I've got some purple yarn and an idea in mind, but I doubt I can keep up with the pace!

Had a very busy weekend; a major plant swap Saturday that took all day, and preparing for a fund drive at work that kicked off today.  But I did get some things done over the weekend.  And got a chance to use some of the hops vials my brewer-sister gave me!

Project Name: Memory potions and rack
Brief Description: Smell is the one of the most evocative senses we have; a whiff can immediately transport you to a different place or time.  My 'potions' are bath salts, blended to remind me of specific places.  Balsam fir and apple make me think of the PNW; Folly Beach is smells like the ocean, with a little gardenia thrown in; Covina Oranges smells like the California town where my mother grew up....
It's hard to capture the sparkle of the rack (which is made from basswood). It's a metallic green that shimmers - but does not photograph well - in the sun.

House: Ravenclaw
Project Name: Care and feeding of Dragons

     I was out for my morning constitutional gather plants for potions class, when I happened upon a patch of flowers, hoping to find the nettle plants I need for my potions homework,  I took a closer look and found a baby dragon nestled among the flowers- What a wonderful surprise! I was able to capture a picture of  him with my picture box before he flew away (apparently the clicking sound from my picture box startled him). I was able, however, to follow him for a short distance and observe him in his natural habitat, I believe I will have enough information to finish my Care of Magical creatures assignment

I hurried home to record my findings. As I was writing, I heard a noise, a rustling sound, I looked up, and saw, much to my delight, this nestled among my potion stores:

If, like me, you have many curious muggle friends and they happen upon these pictures accidentally, tell them they are merely sculptures made from a rare clay with polymer qualities

@ teag, Wow! ...yup, I think that sums it up nicely, just... WOW!!!

Y'all's skills are amazing!  I just am in awe in the crafty goodness we all ready had!  Y'all are truly inspiring, and I can't wait to see more!
