HP Craftalong ~Summer Semester 2012~ *CLOSED*

Ah...I just started with the spider challenge. I had the idea for some days, but only started today.
Is is still okay finish it even though the new challenge is already announced? Why must I always start so late 

Don't worry!  Most challenges will be up for the whole Summer Semester, meaning you just have to finish the challenge during the months of May-August.  If there is a time limit on a challenge I will clearly post that...the only one that I can think of for the Summer Semester is the Quidditch Game during the Olympics.   So keep those spiders coming!   ...and speaking of new challenge....

~* Riding the Knight Bus *~

The Department of Magical Law Enforcement has received reports of some odd occurrences happening on the Knight Bus.  They are recruiting wizards and witches to ride the Knight Bus and record what is going on.  If you choose to volunteer for this mission, you need to craft something purple so it blends in with that vivid purple bus, and bewitch it to record what you witness while on the Knight Bus.  Be safe my friends!  If you have any questions, please send an owl.  I will help you as best I can, but for now, I cast protective spells on all your materials.  Good Luck!

New Challenge, yay! I've been wanting some purple accessories for a while, need to give it a go!

Aw, that Solar System Necklace - I am speechless! I can't even say how much I love it! It even has the Asteroid Belt... All those details... the moon! Siriusly Awesome! I'm wondering if you wear it, how many people figure out what it is.
Please tell us what reactions you get!

Here's a sneak peek of my astrology assignment. I dyed it and will be spinning it to art yarn. I posted this in the most recent fiber friday, linking to this craft-along. Oh, and I finished getting sorted on Pottermore and ended up in Gryffindor although I was hoping for Ravenclaw.. haha oh well.

ooooooooo....what a lovely sneak peek....I need to learn to spin (I'm sure my hubby will be so happy that I'm doing yet another craft....that's what he's get for marrying a craftaholic.)  I have all the materials, just need to make myself give it a whirl!


My plan for the night: Get out one of my trusty wands (aka crochet hook) & a skein of purple sock yarn, and hook up some Apiary Puffs.

Brief Description: I started this double knit scarf back in sept for a friend's birthday that I didn't finish in time so I was gonna give it to him for Christmas which I didn't finish then either or see him. I finally have it all completed but I still haven't seen him yet but here it is.

Brief Description: I know there have been a couple of Pygmy Puffs floating around already, but it was the first thing I thought of and I wanted to start right away. (I needed a project to do today anyways...) This is Puffalump the Pygmy Puff. She's cute and unsuspecting, perfect to spy on the strange witches and wizards that have recently been frequenting the Knight Bus. She reports back to me nightly and her lovely purple hues and adorable cuteness make her blend right in.
