Class: Divination~Create something that can be interpreted as a good sign or a bad omen

Project Name: Raven Hoopla
Brief Description: Ravens have long been omens, sometimes bad and sometimes good.  Ravens are carriers of messages, protectors of seers, and representers of death, mysticism and magic.   Here are a few raven prophecies: If you see a raven preening, rain is on the way.  Seeing a raven tapping on a window foretells death.  If a raven perches on a roof, it means prosperity for the family.

I do believe I would like to join in, but I have no idea which house I belong in. On quizzes I tend to end up a hatstall between Ravenclaw and Slytherin, but people say I am far too nice to be in either and that I must be a Hufflepuff! I do have to admit on Pottermore I got Slytherin, but then Hufflepuff on a second try through (just to see) and I think it bases the decision more on which house needs more students than anything else. Maybe PinkLeo would let me try on the sorting hat :3 (As Slytherin is underrepresented I'll not argue like Harry did. There have been good Slytherins too you know!)

Welcome to Hogwarts!  You will find that our summer students are quite welcoming, studious, and chatty.  If you have any questions, please don't hesitate in sending me an owl (aka PM), or if you wish, you can post here in this thread for I know our students will be more than helpful.  As for your sorting, what a responsibility to decide.  Well, lucky for me the Sorting Hat is on vacation during the summer.  I'm sure when he returns in the fall, the Sorting Hat will be more than happy to help you decide.  For now, just enjoy your classwork.  I bet after being with us for awhile you will discover an inkling of which house you would like to join; I know that the true Sorting Hat takes your wishes in consideration.  Best of luck; I can't wait to see what you craft!

Wow this thread moves fasssst!  And double Wow, so many amazing projects!! If I had a wist/pintrest I would have broken my finger wisting/pinning them all!~  Incredible work, everyone!


I am waiting on supplies to arrive for my Potions homework (muggle-mail is so much slower than owl post!), but I'm almost finished my Follow the spiders assignment! (which could have doubled for my greatest fear, lol. Ergh, spiders!!).
