Class/event: QUIDDITCH "Beater" challenge
House: GRYFFINDOR
Project name: Charmed by Hello Kitty ^^
Description: Well, I've been doing jewelry for a while now but I've never made a charm bracelet. I ESPECIALLY have never had to use eye pins where I had to curl the tops over myself <-- this is where the "new technique" comes in for me. I made all the little bead thingies on the bracelet and threaded each and every jump ring for the whole bracelet. I also made a matching earring and Necklace set but those weren't new techniques for me Cheesy It's a little sparse compared to jennigram's and patty_o's bracelets, but I didn't have much to work with to begin with lol. And I wasn't sure the chain could handle the weight. It's a little thin and delicate  Smiley

Class: ~*Chaser
House: Ravenclaw
Project Name: Ren Skirt
Brief Description: I enjoy attending the local Ren Faire. Normally I rent or borrow a costume, but this year I'm making a simple Chemise and Drawstring Skirt that I can wear with a Cloak I've had for years. The cloak is burgendy on one side and black on the other so I decided to make a burgendy skirt. After much research I've found a pattern for a 3 panel skirt. I'm also trying to make a historically accurate Chemise with ribbons. I hope to finish it next weekend, because I'm going to the Fair on August 11th.

I really like what everyone is coming up with, especially patty_o_furniture's tree of life and obviously everything from Slytherin Wink

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

Quidditch: Seeker
House: Gryffindor!
Project Name: Snitch Ornament

I've had these beautiful victorian wings sitting on my craft desk, awaiting a project.  When the Quidditch challenge was announced, I suddenly realized they were waiting to become a Snitch ornament for my tree this year!  The body is made of two different metal pieces that were layered to create depth, and were sponged with antique gold craft paint.  (They were originally antique copper.)

Lovely snitch ornament!

I'm almost done with my Chaser project! Just have to block it and weave in the ends. Smiley

Class: Herbology
House: Gryffindor
Project Name: Gryffindor Trinket Box for pinkleo

My Herbology project for this term is a small and simple one, but I was really pleased with how well it turned out, especially since it was part of pinkleo's birthday present.  I created a Gryffindor themed trinket box to hold a necklace and earrings for her.  The box was from Michael's.  I stained it with golden maple and brilliant cherry wood stain markers.  The lion is a brass stamping that I bought from an Etsy seller.  Enjoy!

That snitch ornament is brilliant!!  Shocked I LOVE the variety of tiny Harry Potter ornaments on here. I might have to start a tiny tree of my own to keep up all year long that's HP themed  Wink

Class: Seeker
House: Ravenclaw
Project Name: The snitch
Brief Description: I'm an afwull seeker really, so I knew I would never catch the snitch. So I got some beads and made myself one Smiley
Project Picture:

Class: Chaser
House: Ravenclaw
Project name: Red ear cuff
Brief description: As a chaser (or most sportswomen actually) you're not allowed to wear earrings. This is mostly because when it would catch on something it would rip out. I figured an earcuff would be safe enough to wear zooming around in the sky.
Project Picture:

Class: Arithmancy
House: Ravenclaw
Project name: Fibonacci bracelet
Brief Description: It seems to me this bracelet came out of nowhere. You could almost say it bred like a rabbit :p (forgive the horrid joke :p)
Project picture:

Class: Cheering/Spirit
House: Ravenclaw
Project name: Ravenclaw flower
Brief Description: I made a flower in ravenclaw colors to put in my hat while watching quidditch

I'm sorry about picturequality, they were made on my phone because I'm impatient and can't wait until the weekend to post :p
