@katara: spiders usually causes The Shivers, but somehow not beaded ones....I adore beaded spiders!  Fantastic job! Grin  Fab use of earring hooks.

PenguinSoup, I love Mr. Fox, I am SO looking forward to fall already Smiley

I was just eying the pink cat that Toadface wears in DHI somewhere the other day, but the Fox looks so much friendlier somehow...

@trifle I love the idea of using pipe-cleaners for your spider's legs! I really dislike crocheting tiny tubes for legs and arms >_<

Class: Reducio Challenge!
House: Gryffindor
Project Name: Miniature Potions Bottles (part of the project: Philosopher's/Sorcerer's Stone Pendant & Through the Trap Door Bracelet)
Project Page Link: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=411030.0
Brief Description: For the One Tiny Harry Potter Thing 3 Swap I created what I call a "concepty OTT".  It was the Sorcerer's Stone, surrounded by the obstacles & enchantments used to protect it in the book.  I used charms to represent most of the obstacles, but I wasn't happy with the glass bottles I had for Snape's logic puzzle potions lineup.  So, I made them!  The bottles are made of beads, bead caps & spacers.  Since the beads on the bracelet are in shades of black and grey, I tried to keep the potion bottles in bright jewel tones to make them stand out from the stones, but not be so flashy that they appear out of place.

Your potion bottles turned out fab; it's amazing what you can do what beads, spacers, & bead caps. Cool

One week of vacation, and I have tons of projects to catch up on, and you all have been so busy!! I love all these wonderful things I'm seeing! I've finished my Muggle Studies project, but will have to wait to post pictures, as it's on it's way to a swap partner, and I don't want any spoilers in case she finds this. I'm also ludicrously close to finishing my transfiguration project. It's sheer laziness keeping me from finishing up. Perhaps tomorrow...

Not sure if this counts since its more recycling than crafty, but
2. Potions: A Forgetfulness Potion is something all first years must learn.  Create something that helps you remember.

Class (or House Pride Item): Potions
Project Name: RememberMed
Brief Description: A Forgetfulness Potion is something all first years must learn.  Create something that helps you remember.
I have medications I take daily, I have tons of the little vials that the medicine comes in from the pharmacy. I frequently forget to take my medications in the morning, so I decided to put a days dose in one of the vials and carry it with me so I have it available when I do remember to take it. I now can prepare over a weeks worth quickly once a week, and just need to grab a vial on my way out the door in the morning.
