Class:  Broomsitck quidditch Challenge
House: Gryffindor
Brief Description:
I crafted this as a birthday present in the July birthday swap.  I found the design on her pinterest and decided to try my hand at making it.  I couldn't find a broom charm anywhere so I decided to make one out of wire...which was a total experiment since I had no instructions for it.  I was thrilled with how it turned out as I think it looks a lot like a firebolt. Cheesy

I am the proud owner of this necklace and it is amazing.  I love the broom!  It turned out perfect.  You did great. And way to go Avesthel with all you quidditch projects.  Keep it going Gryffindors!!!!!

class: quidditch broom
house:griffendor
project: kitchen sign/magnet

i saw this on pinterest, do i played around with my scrapbooking program and made my own. my muggle neighbors think my broom is only for cleaning, but my cleansweep can really zoom around my kitchen floor.

i'm a loyal griffendor, but i have a confession to make. i watched deathly hollows part 2 with my daughter today, she just finished the book and literally had it on her lap, and after much discussion, snap may actually be my favorite character, even though i complained to my husband (who hasn't read the books) that i couldn't belive that snape killed dumbledore. i was so mad!

ooo, I've been wanting to make myself one of those Quidditch necklaces, but haven't found a broom charm that I liked well enough.  Guess I should just make my own!  Great job

BAAAAHAHHA! Nice pic pottermouth! XDDD I LOL'd so hard when I saw it!

I am FINALLY back in the game! My technological broom stick (namely, my computer) was knocked out by a bludger and taken to a muggle computer equivalent of Madame Promfrey to be nursed back to health. Due to worrying, my creative juices stopped flowing. All I wanted to do was sleep and eat chocolate frogs (and watch Harry Potter to ease the withdrawals) Embarrassed
But now I'm BACK and ready to ROAR for my Gryffindors!!!!!!! Grin Grin
Oh, and a friendly congrats to Slytherin house for creeping up on us! O__O They're giving us a run for our money Gryffindors! Lets go, fight, win!!!!

First off, the quanity and quality of all the projects in this craftalong is simply amazing. I don't have time to comment on any individual pieces now, but I do want to share a few small projects I've completed. I'm hoping to get a few more done (including some Quidditch challenges) before the end of the semester, but well life's been a bit busy. I got back from camp (the HP inspired camp I work at) a few days ago, and that was awesome. Anyways, the projects:

Class: Astronomy
House: Ravenclaw
Project Name: A Little Pouch of Sunshine
Project Page Link: None
Brief Description: So I made this small sewing project actually near the beggining of the semester and never thought to post it until now. I was looking for a small pouch to capture a few rays of sunshine and to hold a few special items when necessary. It's very basic sewing, but I'm still a begginer so I'm fairly happy with it.
Project Picture:

Class (or House Pride Item): Knight Bus Challenge
House: Ravenclaw
Project Name: A Simple Purple Card
Project Page Link: None
Brief Description: I made this little card with the intention of sending a letter to a friend. Though I haven't yet sent it, I've realized that it is perfect for applying a small listening charm to when riding the Knight Bus so that I can capture any happenings which occur during my travels.
Project Picture:

Class (or House Pride Item): Divination
House: Ravenclaw
Project Name: A Sanity for My Mom
Project Page Link: None
Brief Description: So at the Harry Potter inspired camp I work at, ducks, specifically ducks known as Sanity are kind of a huge thing. Sanity is kinda the camp's unofficial mascot, so I figured what better good omen than that. Furthermore, I realized my mom deserved her own little Sanity since she's been really supportive of all the camp stuff I'm involved in. So I present, a small Sanity drawing - drawn on cardstock, colored some, and with a purple background.

...Sorry for the pic heaviness of the post.
