Hi!  First thing I should say is I am a complete amateur to sewing.  Anddd I've never used a pattern or anything like that.~~

Anyway, I really like miniature backpacks.  Ones that look like this: http://www.refinery29.com/static/bin/entry/519/x/18262/stylish-backpacks-rucksacks-1.jpg  (the red one)
or

I just bought my first DSLR camera.  I was wondering if there is a way to make a mini backpack (even redoing an old backpack to be mini?) into a camera bag?  I want it to be safe for the camera/lenses, with padding and everything, so if there's no way for that then it won't be a camera bag.  I hope there's a way, though. Smiley  So far I have two lenses, and I'm planning to eventually buy more.

So, any ideas on how to do this?
Thank you in advance. :]

Congrats on the new camera!  I just got mine about 3 years ago and love it!  Don't know how I ever lived without it! lol.  If you google toddler backpack tutorial you'll find some cute ones.  I would use fusible fleece to add a little cushion and then I think I would also put removable padding like a regular camera bag has.  The kind you can put in and out with velcro and move around how you need them.  If you don't know what I'm talking about, google dslr camera bag tutorial and I think you'll see.
