All the way back in 2009 I was in a swap in which there was limited sign-ups, just the organizer and ten other participants, and you made a necklace for each person (ie: ten total). You had the choice of premaking them or waiting to hear about colour preferences/basic style. I'd happily organise this, but it would be silly to have a sign up on the other board if no one was interested.

So...a new batch of necklaces, anyone?

A sweat shop swap! 10 would be a bit much for me but I would be interested in a 5 for 5 if you offered that option!

I'd be in. 5 for 5 would be plenty for me too.

My other question would be pendants or necklaces? The pendants would be easier to make five of.

I personally would prefer to not premake them. That shouldn't be too bad with just 5.

Yeah, I was actually thinking of moving it down to five. Two groups of 6 chosen basically at random. Hearing that seconded and thirded makes me really want to change it.

Sweetyetevil- I love SSS's, I've signed up for the last ten at least. All the props in the world to Gatorwrangler for organising those. I doubt I could do anything that complicated.

KriSmith- I think pendants would be fine. But I think I'd add a rule that they have to come with a chain/cord/whatever. In the original swap I got a few pendants without a way of putting them on, and it was kind of frustrating.

I guess if you were knitting or sewing it or something people could get cat hair on it, so I'd probably still have to ask the allergy question?

Should I start signups now, or should I wait a bit?

Yes I do not know how GatorWrangler keeps track of everyone....Ugg I do enough spreadsheet stuff at work lol I was just thinks sweatshop in the way that you would have multiple same/similiar items but no one would be sending in a list of what they want. At least I think thats what you mean.

Depending on what I would make, sometimes 5 items could take a while. Especially if I make something in the kiln as it often requires several firings if I use decals etc....I do need to practice more with my glass things....hmmmm

Just please don't make sign ups last forever. I hate that. I'm so impatient!  Sad

When I first saw this, I thought 10 may be a bit much for me to commit to, but I would definitely be in for 5!
