There's a deeper meaning there. [putting on a wise face]

Whenever I got a balloon as a preschooler, it was a real struggle for me: Do I hold on and have the pleasure of a having a balloon, or do I let go and have the pleasure of seeing it float high, high into the sky? It's a big decision for a three or four year old. (Or was; I think they tie 'em to the kids wrists now or give them weighted handgrips.)

*pinned* Reminds me of a Cowboy Mouth song, one of my top songs of all time: "When the world is coming down on my I let it go!"
What a lovely reminder.

Hey, wouldn't it be cool to get a helium pump, write your anxieties/worries on strips of paper, pop one each into balloons, fill 'em up and let 'em go? Like that anxiety in a jar thing that was so cool, a physical representation to help ease our burdens.

Also pinned as it reminds me of a song from my favourite band.  Great Big Sea has a song called "Let it Go" and it is one of those songs I use when things get overwhelming.

Thank you for sharing.

This makes me think of both 'Let it go' from OK Go and the Buddhist concept of letting things go.

Lovely work.
