Thanks for the compliments!

I made the soil of fabric that was already with those colours: it went from blue to green to brown. So I "cheated" a little  Wink
The poppies are made of silk, I burned the edged to prevent it from fraying. And I like all the stages of growth, it is so exciting when a poppy opens up a little!
And the bees (beads with stripes of my sharpie) because the air was so empty, hahaha! And the bees flight plan so I could quilt there as well.

I really had so much fun! Thanks for organizing MareMare and PJ!
And thanks for swapping with me, luckdragon! I am confident that I will love what you made! No doubt!!

For some reason  I had a lot of trouble uploading pictures but here they are finally!. Slothy took everything I love into consideration with this quilt,  I couldn't stop smiling for over an hour and my cheeks hurt!  She named it "I see you!"  This is definitely one of my favorite swap items ever.

I wish I was a better photographer to show off how wonderful I think this quilt is.   It is hand dyed, hand painted and amazingly embellished with ribbon, beads and buttons.  Also I think the quiliting is just perfect!  Thank you so much Slothy.  Kiss

And BTW, I meant to add that I LOVE the ribbon seaweed in the above quilt. Very ingenious. Smiley

Hello. I'm Posting for Funthreads since she doesn't have a computer at the moment.

She says ...
I received the cutest quilt from retro rose! It's a little mushroom forest. Can't you just picture a gnome and  fairies dancing about? I love it!

All the little details are wonderful. Embroidered cat tails by the water edge, seed beads making the sun dance on the pond and 3D tree tops. I fabrics are excellent too.

and

This will be traveling in the car with me and be the first thing up on the wall at my new house. Thank you sooo much. I love, love, love my quilt.
